Mintal (Damao) Hydrogen Energy Co., Ltd. signed a "Cooperation Framework Agreement" with Tangshan Caofeidian Port Union Port Company
On October 15, 2024, Mintal (Damao) Hydrogen Energy Co., Ltd. signed a "Cooperation Framework Agreement" with Tangshan Caofeidian Port Union Port Company to advance green ammonia storage and transportation capabilities at the Caofeidian Port.
Under this agreement, Caofeidian Port Union will construct specialized infrastructure within its Phase I Petrochemical Terminal. This includes constructing a 45,000 m³ cryogenic liquid ammonia storage tank, two 3,500 m³ covered pressure tanks, along with supporting facilities.
Once operational, these advanced infrastructures will support Mintal’s goal of handling up to 400,000 tons of green ammonia annually during Phase I, with expansion capabilities reaching 800,000 tons annually in Phase II. Mintal will hold exclusive, long-term rights to the dock’s loading, unloading, transportation, refrigeration, and storage facilities, ensuring streamlined, efficient logistics.
This partnership represents a crucial step in creating a seamless green ammonia supply chain and strengthens Mintal’s position in the global green ammonia market, providing essential support for international distribution and sales.
