Mintal Signs Agreement for Ulanqab Wind-Solar Hydrogen and Carbon-Free Fuel Co-Production, Green Alloy and Fuel Ethanol Co-Production Project
On April 8, 2024, Mintal (Damao) Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd. participated in a signing meeting for the Wind-Solar Hydrogen and Carbon-Free Fuel Co-Production, Green Alloy and Fuel Ethanol Co-Production Project in Ulanqab, Chahar Right Rear Banner, Inner Mongolia.
The meeting was attended by key leaders, including Party Secretary Cui Yong, Deputy Party Secretary and Banner Chief Zhang Jianbin, Director of the Ulanqab New Material Development Zone Management Committee Zhao Longfei, Ms. Cui Lifang and other relevant department heads from the Banner government.
Representatives from Mintal Group included Chairperson Tao Jing, General Manager Tao Xu, Administrative Director Feng Tao of Mintal Hydrogen Energy Technology, General Manager of Mintal (Ulanqab) Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd. Bai Linbao, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairperson of Inner Mongolia Huayi Zhuozi Thermal Power Co., Ltd. Ren Jun, and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager Luo Ruijun.
During the meeting, Tao Jing, Chairperson of Mintal Group, Wen Qi, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Director, and General Manager of Huadian Inner Mongolia Energy Co., Ltd., and Qin Haifeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Mengshang Bank Ulanqab Branch, introduced the 1.8GW wind-solar hydrogen and carbon-free fuel co-production project, the 1 million tons per year green alloy and fuel ethanol co-production project, and the Mengshang Bank Ulanqab Branch. Both parties exchanged views on matters related to the project signing.
Party Secretary Cui Yong stated that the two signed projects are highly technological, have broad market prospects, and offer considerable economic and social benefits. The construction and initiation of these projects hold significant importance for enhancing the industrial level of Chahar Right Rear Banner, promoting the transformation and upgrading of the industrial economy, and driving rapid economic development.
Next, both parties should maintain close communication, break down and detail the project agreement contents, expedite the schedule, and strive for early project commencement, production, and results. The Party Committee and Banner government will fully support the project throughout its life cycle, while all departments will diligently fulfill their responsibilities, proactively addressing difficulties encountered during project advancement, aiming for mutual benefits and win-win outcomes.
Finally, Banner Chief Zhang Jianbin signed the agreements with Ren Jun, Bai Linbao, and Tao Xu for the 1.8GW Wind-Solar Hydrogen and Carbon-Free Fuel Co-Production, Green Alloy and Fuel Ethanol Co-Production Project.
